Lamisil (terbinafine) is an antifungal medication that fights fungus-caused infection. It treats infections caused by fungus affecting fingernails, toenails and even scalp hair of children ages 4 and above.
Lamisil is an effective treatment for athlete’s foot. It provides healthy foot care with its fungus-fighting properties. Terbinafine hydrochloride treats fungal or yeast infections causing athlete’s foot. It kills the fungus, liketinea cruris(jock itch), ringwormandcandida albicans(athlete’s foot) to prevent it from reproducing and ultimately, stop infection. Terbinafine is available in cream, powder or tablet forms. If used as a cream, it may be applied topically to treat infections located on the superficial skin. The best part about Terbinafine cream is it takes effect in just half the time needed by other antifungal creams.
Keep in mind that your doctor may need to adjust the treatment if an antifungal treatment is required. If symptoms persist, or if you experience any rash, worsening how your body responds to the treatment, or any other side effects, consult your doctor.
Do not use Lamisil Once 3 times daily without consultation with a doctor or pharmacist. The cream should be used only on the day it is applied and not on any other dates, periods, or areas where you should not use it. If you get infected easily, spray on the skin only after you doctor treat your condition. Do not use it for longer than directed, even if it looks good.
Using Lamisil Once will not cure the infection and it may not treat fungal infections.
